De Tuin van Bret  is Amsterdam’s first area for entrepreneurs and artist totally made from re-used materials in an innovative vineyard environment.

Education
There are many things to learn about the projects realized by Studio Valkenier and friends. 

Studio Valkenier hosts special personal tours and educational demos for students of primary, secondary and higher education. A walking tour takes you through Garden of Bret, Station area and building site. A cycling tour takes you to BRET, Hannekes Boom, Stadstimmertuin and Ceuvel.

Presentations
For those who want to go more in depth, Studio Valkenier offers custom made presentations that go in depth about the design philosophy and background of projects and allow you to engage in a dialogue about the project. We have a special lecture room which looks over the vineyard, with free WiFi, coffee and tea. What do you learn/see?

When you book a lecture/workshop/college or tour at the Upcycle University you’ll learn about bottom-up community development, architecture & spatial planning, Up cycling. You can use our Surfing Amsterdam Architecture map and make a tour by book to visit our favorite spots in Amsterdam.
